ANZAC Day Commemorated in Beirut, Lebanon

  • Apr 27
  • 1 min read

The Australian Embassy in Beirut marked ANZAC Day with a respectful and dignified ceremony attended by the Australian Ambassador, diplomatic representatives, and distinguished guests.

The event honoured the service and sacrifice of Australians and New Zealanders who have served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions. Attendees gathered in solemn reflection to pay tribute and reaffirm the enduring values of courage, mateship, and remembrance.

This commemoration in Beirut highlights the continued connection between Australia, New Zealand, and Lebanon, and the shared respect for those who have given their lives in service.

Lest we forget.
